  13. I think you have a good point.  What is really needed is a method that returns
  14. the index of a specific object (i.e. GetItemNumber(anObj)) and one that returns
  15. the index of an object that is "equal to" (but possibly a different object)
  16. some object.  We'll do that.

  18. On the problem of skipping over an ancestral method, casting the object to
  19. another class doesn't solve the problem.
